Preview: The Arcaneum: A Call From The Void
A preview of the structure of the trilogy to be released.
My upcoming book, The Arcaneum: A Call From The Void, is an exploration of my accumulated research & knowledge collected over 14 years as an amateur researcher, mainly on the subjects of Truth, Physics, Science & Cosmology.
The book is written in the style of natural philosophy, emphasizing qualitative geometric or abstract, logical explanations over mathematical quantizations or proofs, while still attempting to be informed by and adhere to the fruits of empiricism.
The book is being released as a trilogy set later this year, and following this arrangement:
Book I: The Book of Truth
This book is empirically sourced. The text is relating to the empirical, practical, and factual investigations I have undertaken, with a strict adherence to documentation and evidence, either physical or observational.Book II: The Book of Wisdom
This book is doctrinally sourced. The text is relating to the cosmological, metaphysical and psychological research & works I have undertaken, and is based in ascribing meaning, structure, and interconnection with the world of science. It is a non-scientific investigation and exploration, instead apophatic in its nature.Book III: The Book of Arcanus
This book is an attempted synthesis of the previous two books, resulting in a “New Fire“-compliant understanding of cosmology, mythology & theology, my own version of Jung’s ‘Red Book’. The text is relating to the arts, and my own perspectives & beliefs, It includes compilations of verse, prose, arts, inspirations, and other objects of interest.
Below is the cover-art for Book II: The Book of Wisdom.
Above: Kali, the Goddess of Time, Change, Creation, Destruction and Power. The supreme of all powers, the ultimate reality. She is the Sanskrit equivalent of the Greek Khaos.
I actually didn’t write this one. Full credit goes to Mark Campbell & Tim Charles of Ne Obliviscaris, one of my favourite bands. The genre is progressive death metal, but, they sing in cannon and have violinist, who is also the clean vocalist.
Devour Me, Collosus by Mark Campbell & Tim Charles of Ne Obliviscaris:
Citadel, of hope and white fire:
Hearken: A choir for Kings; Transcendence.
Crowned in teeth and severed wings,
Is this the end of the flesh?My prison and my salvation...
A call from the void; Pale tentacles...
Enthroned; Alone; Dying.
Down with my draped leeches, oh lover:
Melancholia...You fill my lungs; Am i undone?
Where i swallow the light:
Drown me in your arms, so deep;
Drown me in your arms...Abyssal wyrmwell:
Fathomless...
Drown me in your arms...Anatomy of space and time:
Gathered in veiled depths; Descendant.
Are these god's tears in this pitch black tomb
Or the pain of my memories?Of all suffering, awake architects:
The Mother, The Father, The Eye.
Trumpets bellow, ripples transfigure:
Wretched am I...White eyes and blue lips, lover: Devour me.
Drown me in your arms,
Abyssal wyrmwell:
Fathomless...Drown me in your arms...
Drown me in your arms,
Abyssal wyrmwell:
Fathomless...A burning gauntlet held to her breast:
In her arms, the phoenix lays blackened in mourning.
A purging of ashes down her hourglass figure;
Inscribed on my heart: "Devour me, Colossus".Scent of the earth; Touch of the light.
Here, where colours collide,
This blackhole ignites:
My world in bloom.Flesh to flowers; Blood to rivers;
My breath to the wind.
The stars steal my eyes,
And the sun sears my mind.This blackhole ignites,
My world in bloom.
Here I stand, Citadel:
Here I stand...~ Devour Me, Collosus ( Part I: Blackholes ), Citadel,
As written by Mark Campbell & Tim Charles of Ne Obliviscaris.
Note that she’s carrying the 8 phases of the Kali Yuga, which also bears her name. An abyssal wyrmwell, indeed. Like Tartarus, she’s a bottomless pit, the mother & devourer of all.
The Eye is the Phantom.
I’m here all week.
